How We Got 335 New Patients for a Medical Practice in One Month

Riverstone Medical Case Study

The Client

A purpose-built medical clinic offering an array of health services including children’s health, skin cancer checks and and immunisations, Riverstone Medical Centre services the residents of Riverstone, Doreen and surrounding suburbs. The team enlisted our services to help increase patient numbers and brand awareness in the local community.

The Challenge

Operating in both a competitive location and industry, our challenge was to help Riverstone stand out from the competition and ensure that the local community were aware of the wide range of services the centre offers. Cost per click spends are traditionally quite high in the medical industry, so we were tasked with employing a wider advertising strategy that didn’t rely solely on Google advertising.

The Strategy

To stand out, we needed to highlight the main services and clinic features the local community deemed most important. As such, our messaging focussed heavily on bulk-billing and vaccinations, two important considerations for those selecting their new regular medical practice.

Our social media ads helped increase the brand awareness of Riverstone Medical Practice, thus further increasing patient bookings. Our vaccination ads generated an enormous amount of engagement from our local market, particularly regarding updates as to the availability of COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

Integral to our strategy was the importance of generating a feeling of community. As part of this strategy, we included short bios of the doctors working at the practice. This helped new clients put faces to the names, and feel a little more at ease with visiting a new practice.

With a cost per click of as little as 87c and 335 new patients, we were thrilled with this outcome for our client.
