Communicating Community Values for a Team of Council Election Nominees

Stuart Baker Team Case Study

The Client

The former Mayor of Albury, Stuart Baker has been involved in local politics for a number of years. With upcoming council elections and a record number of candidates, Stuart and his team enlisted our services to help get their message out to local voters and raise their profiles, individually and as a group, locally.

The Challenge

With a record number of nominees, each campaigning on a number of platforms, we needed to ensure that the Stuart Baker team presented a united front with a consistent message.

Our team created a branding suite including a logo and variations, colour palette and social media templates to ensure consistent visuals across the board. Our photographer, Isobel, captured the team at a number of local landmarks, and these images were used throughout their campaign.

Finally, our creative team and paid advertising team worked together to create content that was published organically, then utilised in their Facebook advertising.

The Result

The campaign received plenty of positive feedback, with locals commenting ‘we see your ads everywhere!’

This was a real team effort between our team and the council nominees, and resulted in 3 of 5 Stuart Baker Team nominees being successfully voted on to council.
